The Problem Oriented Policing Unit is an investigative team within the Criminal Investigations Division. The P.O.P. Unit works closely with both Detectives and the Patrol Division of the Concord Police Department, as well as the various local, state, and federal drug units in the State of New Hampshire.
The P.O.P. Unit is tasked with investigating reoccurring criminal issues within the community. Enforcement efforts are focused on nuisance crimes, organized criminal activity, street crimes, narcotic investigations, repeat offenses/offenders, and assistance in undercover operations and surveillance. Additionally, there is an officer assigned to the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics and Investigations Unit.
