Please note that due to an issue with AT&T’s cellular network, which is beyond the City’s control, approximately 34 of the City’s 85 parking kiosks, as well as certain single space electronic smart meters on Green, Prince, and North State streets, are temporarily unable to process credit card transactions. As a result, these kiosks and smart meters can only accept coin. However, in some isolated instances, affected kiosks and smart meters may be completely out of service (i.e unable to take coin or process credit cards). Therefore, visitors to downtown are advised to plan accordingly and be prepared to use coin to pay for parking. The kiosks and smart meters accept nickels, dimes, and quarters. In the event parkers come across a completely disabled kiosk, they should make reasonable efforts to visit the next available kiosk to make payment. Parking at disabled single space smart meters on Green, Prince, and North State streets will be free of charge until service is restored. The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
