Concord General Services has started their annual spring hydrant flushing. This is part of required routine maintenance of the City's water distribution system. For the next several weeks, crews will be flushing hydrants in scheduled areas throughout different areas of Concord. Water customers may experience low water pressure and discoloration when flushing is occurring in their area. If discoloration occurs, run your tap water on cold until the water runs clear. Residents should avoid doing laundry during their scheduled flushing time.
