WHERE: Weir Road-Boscawen Town Forest Trail (Map 4 at concordnh.gov/trails)
WHAT: Join Wendy Olson & Bob Lyon for a group hike along the Weir Road-Boscawen Town Forest Trail, about 3 miles. Terrain is easy to moderate with little elevation gain. Please plan for appropriate footwear/gear depending upon the conditions. Meet at the parking area: 74 Weir Road, Concord NH.
NOTES: Counterclockwise loop, starting at gate at end of Weir Road in Concord, using old Weir Road, Dagody Hill Loop, Colby Loop, Blue Ridge Trail, Hardy Bypass. Mostly woods trails through rolling terrain - easy to moderate, some rocks and roots. Approximately 3 miles. Less than 200 feet elevation gain.
DIRECTIONS: From the roundabout at the intersection of Village Street (Route 3) and Washington Street in Penacook, head northwest on Village Street for 0.2 mi. Turn left onto Elm Street. Travel 2.3 mi. Turn right onto Weir Road. Travel 0.6 mi to the gate at road's end and park on side of road. For Google Maps directions, use as destination: 74 Weir Road, Concord, NH.
