The City of Concord is actively researching the feasibility of creating a Community Power Program.
City Council has adopted 100% renewable energy goals for both City operations and residential energy use to meet the challenge of climate change impacts. A Community Power Program will work on behalf of the community to provide affordable electricity and increase use of renewable energy.
Learn about the benefits of Community Power and hear from communities that have implemented community power programs:
- Howard Moffett, Chair, Canterbury Community Power Committee, Community Power Coalition Board of Directors
- Mari Brunner, Senior Planner, City of Keene, NH
Session dates (will be the same presentation both dates):
- Tuesday, October 3, 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 37 Green Street
- Tuesday, November 14, 6 p.m., City Wide Community Center, 14 Canterbury Road
