Wellness for City Employees / Retirees

Wellness

The City of Concord continuously strives to offer comprehensive, responsive, and flexible health benefit plans and programs. All full-time employees and city-insured spouses are eligible to participate in the city's Wellness Program via the new online wellness portal through Harvard Pilgrim.

Why Wellness

The "Wellness Program (PDF)" is a strategy to reduce rising costs of health care for both, the city, and its employees, and to reduce sick leave utilization, workers compensation, and disability management.

Why Participate (WIIFM - "What's In It For Me")

  • Improve employee and family health
  • Improve quality of life
  • Become smart consumers of health care
  • Positively impact attitudes towards personal health
  • Earn $ to help offset your health insurance costs
  • Win/win outcomes
