The Building Safety Division reviews and accepts plans submitted with building permit applications for code compliance. Permits for building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and demolition are issued. We perform the necessary inspections and issue certificates of occupancy when sufficient verification of code compliance has been documented.
Our office also administers the City of Concord Property Maintenance Code and coordinates the activities of the Building Board of Appeals.
