Winter Reading for All Ages

Winter Reading is back for all ages! The Winter Reading Challenge can be done in conjunction with the Ultimate Book Nerd yearlong reading challenge for even more chances to win prizes! The program runs from January 4th-February 26th.

Register here or at the Main Library or Heights Branch.

Teen and Adult Winter Reading

Book Bingo is back! The challenge is this: to complete as many squares as you can by Saturday, February 26. As you complete each task, record the title of the book in the corresponding square. Every time you complete a Bingo—5 boxes in a row in any direction—you’ll earn a raffle ticket for our prize drawing. Maximum 5 tickets per board. Show your Bingo card to a staff member by February 26th to claim your raffle tickets.

Children’s Winter Reading

Kids will receive a bookmark to keep track of their winter reading.  Cross off a snowflake for every 15 minutes they read or are read to.  When they turn in their first completed bookmark, they will earn a Concord Kids Read tote bag (if they do not already have one)!  Each time they fill out another bookmark, they will earn an iron-on patch of their choice to decorate their bookbag.  For kids who participated in this past summer’s Reading Program, there are all sorts of new patches for Winter Reading!
