Boards, Commissions and Committees
 
Airport Advisory Committee
Advisory to the City Council on matters relating to planning and development of the airport and rules and regulations for the airport operations.

Community Development Adv. Comm.
Reviews and makes recommendations on matters affecting housing, reviews neighborhood improvement needs and considers grant programs available for financing such improvements.

Conservation Commission
Protects, promotes and develops Concord’s natural resources.

Economic Development Adv. Council
Reviews and makes recommendations to the Economic Development Coordinator on matters which affect the economic development of the City.

Everett Arena Advisory Committee
Makes recommendations to the City Manager relative to possible improvements to the operations of the Arena as well as creative new uses and sources of income.  Updates the five-year needs plan and submits an Annual Report to the City Council.

Golf Course Advisory Committee
Recommends operational improvements, fees, and long-term planning.

Heritage Commission
Advises on use and protection of historic, cultural, and aesthetic resources


 
      Concord Housing Authority
Oversees low-income and elderly housing conditions and methods of improvements.

Library Board of Trustees & Foundation
Oversees the general management and policy of the Concord Public Library. 

Planning Board
Carries out the Master Plan to guide the development of the City.

Recreation & Parks Advisory Commission
Recommends operational, programmatic and fiscal improvements of the Recreation Department

Solid Waste Advisory Committee
Addresses general policy issues regarding recycling, refuse collection and waste reduction.

Transportation Advisory Committee
Advises City Council on public transportation issues.

Zoning Board of Adjustment
Hears and acts upon appeals for granting variances, special exceptions, equitable waivers and administrative decisions under the zoning ordinance.
