The Highway and Utilities Division of Concord General Services will begin it’s annual hydrant flushing throughout Concord Monday, April 17, 2017. For the next several weeks, there will be three crews going out to scheduled areas to flush hydrants to remove any sediment from water distribution pipes. This process helps maintain Concord’s water quality and also check water pressure. Residents should avoid doing laundry when hydrant flushing is occurring in their area. Concord water consumers may experience low pressure and discoloration during their scheduled flushing time. If discoloration occurs, run your tap water on cold until the water runs clear. Be sure to visit www.concordnh.gov/springoperations for a new flushing schedule each week indicating the impacted areas.
For meetings held in the City Council Chambers, any person who is unable to access the upper level of the Council Chambers to address the City Council or any other public body may use the podium and/or microphone located at the lower level of the Council Chambers. Other reasonable accommodations may be available upon request.
Agenda and meeting schedules for the City Council, Zoning Board, Planning Board, and other City boards, committees, and commissions are posted on the bulletin board inside the City Hall lobby. The City Hall lobby is the official location for meeting and agenda postings and not this web site.
