The City’s Neighborhood Street Paving Program has returned with GMI Asphalt LLC as the City’s paving contractor for this year.
Update as of September 29, 2023: Canal Street has been base paved from Village Street to Walnut Street. Granite curbing is scheduled to be installed today and Monday next week. Sidewalk work will occur next week after the curbing is set and the final paving is scheduled for late next week. Stickney Hill Road, Millstone Drive, and Spillway Lane have been base paved. Millstone Drive and Spillway Lane curb is scheduled to be re-set mid to end of October.
This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change. Work is weather permitting. Streets may be reduced to one lane or closed to through traffic. Parking will be limited on these streets between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Residents will have road access to their homes.
The Neighborhood Street Paving Program was initiated in Fiscal Year 2016 to refocus paving efforts on local neighborhood streets. The goal is to reach the entire community as the program continues. The City conducts an assessment of road conditions every 2 years to prioritize paving for streets that are in need of repair. Roads are scheduled for paving based on priority and available funding.
Residents that have a concern or paving request for a particular street can submit a request at www.concordnh.gov/seeclickfix or on the MyConcordNH app.
