A water main leak has been discovered on Fort Eddy Road in Concord just north of the traffic lights at the intersection of Fort Eddy Plaza and L.L. Bean. The northbound lanes are closed at these lights while Concord General Services’ water crew works to repair the leak and restore road conditions.
The leak was detected on an 8-inch cement lined cast iron water main. Water has been shut off to 75-77 Fort Eddy Road to complete necessary repairs, impacting service at the plaza that includes Panera Bread and Verizon Wireless.
Crews are working to complete repairs and reopen the road as soon as possible. There is no estimated time of completion at this time. Please seek an alternate route and avoid the area if possible.
