[ARCHIVED] If you liked Ready Player One…Try this

Did you see the movie “Ready Player One” recently? Or read the book? If it gave you a hankering for more science fiction then our  Assistant Director, Mat Bose, has some reading suggestions for you. We hope you enjoy this book list and feel free to reach out to Mat for more reading suggestions if you enjoy his favorite genres.   1. Artemis, by Andy Weir (Hard Sci-Fi – Space - Caper) – Andy Weir’s (author of The Martian) main character is once again a brilliant wise cracker. You are sure to enjoy this fun caper set on the first colony on the moon.
  2. How to Stop Time, by Matt Haig (Sci-Fi - Time Travel – History) – Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be immortal? Tom Hazard has a rare condition that slows the aging process. Enjoy this jaunt through time and history to discover the potential advantages and disadvantages of living forever.
  3. The Collapsing Empire, by John Scalzi – (Sci-Fi – Space – Interplanetary Travel) – Scalzi has created another new space opera to capture our imaginations. This first book in the series features a fascinating group of characters, intrigue, and suspense.
  4. Iron Gold, by Pierce Brown (Sci-Fi - Space - Dystopia) – If you haven’t read the Red Rising Saga yet, drop everything and start it now. Heart pounding action and adventure await in this 4 book series that starts with Red Rising.
